The truth is, your whole reality can change in a heartbeat when you know how. Today, I share three shifts you need to make that will allow you to transform your life and claim the future you deserve. It is time to wear your crown like the gosh darn queen you are. 👑
In the early days of my spiritual journey, I knew exactly what I wanted my life to be like. The difficulty came from the fact that it all felt like a pipe dream. That kind of life was for lucky people… right?!
Nothing I did seemed to move me toward my dreams. My daily reality was emotional turmoil and demoralisation. It was only when I fully understood and implemented what I’m about to share with you that things started to change.
If I can transform my life from constant stress, pain and suffering to a life of freedom, peace and purpose, then I know you can too!
Shift 1 – The position of power
To claim the future you desire, you must first make a powerful decision to do whatever it takes to move toward what you want. Maybe this sounds obvious. However, before I made this definite commitment, I kept backing off when things felt uncomfortable. No wonder. I had not committed to myself and what I wanted. 🤦♀️
There is a big difference between saying I wish my life was different and I’ll do whatever it takes to change this. Can you feel the difference? It is HUGE.
So I invite you to decide that enough is enough and you will not carry on like this anymore. It does not matter if you don’t see the path to getting what you want. Step by step, it will be revealed to you when you start. So, now is the time to raise your standards and get moving, beautiful!
Shift 2 – Attitude awareness
Secondly, you MUST raise your level of consciousness. Then you are aware of what is really going on inside of you. You need to shine a light on what lies outside your conscious awareness because this currently drives you. When you see it, it no longer has total power over you.
In other words, you need to become aware of the kinds of thoughts you are having about both your current circumstances and about doing what it takes to move forward. What limiting stories are you telling yourself? From my experience, 90% of getting what you want comes down to the inner game. Just 10% involves taking action.
For instance, if you have a lot of fearful thoughts about moving forward into the unknown, making those changes will probably feel like standing on hot coals. Bloody painful. 😫 It’s unlikely you will be motivated to take action if you believe the thoughts about the potential worst-case scenarios. Or if you keep telling yourself that you are not good enough, do you think you will even try?
I started to raise my awareness through a special meditation technique that connects me directly to my true Self. This practice taught me to see my thoughts and let them go. It became clear that my thoughts do not equal truth. I do not have to believe them. I love sharing this with my clients and seeing the relief on their faces when they realise they no longer need to believe that limiting voice, either.
Change becomes SO much easier when you know the thoughts in your mind are untrue. Choose to smile at them and do what needs to be done anyway. Life is too short to waste time waiting for what you want to magically land in your lap. Start now, whether you feel ready or not. You deserve it to live the life you really want.
Shift 3 – Align with your greatness TO CLAIM THE FUTURE YOU WANT
During each moment, ask Is my current attitude congruent with that bright future I want for myself? Every part of you has to line up with what you really want – your thoughts, feelings and actions. If not, it is time to flip the script.
What would it be like if you decided you CAN do it and ARE worthy of what you want? That the answers ARE within you and that you CAN find them when you take that first step forward? That’s more in line with your bright future, right? 💪
Only you can change the story you tell yourself about your capabilities. You DO have the power to shift your reality and claim the future you want.
Begin by writing about your new attitudes and beliefs. Who are you when you are successful? What do you spend your days doing? How do you interact with others? Write about your future and how great it feels to be living it. Use your senses to really feel what it will be like now. Write as though you are already living it.
Then, connect with what you have written each day and feel the words. By doing this, you are changing your default inner state to the one that will pull your future toward you. You will become the person who naturally lives that dream life.
